Our kinders investigated printmaking with Paul Klee's "Castle and the Sun" inspired artwork! We discussed Architecture, and the different types of buildings that create a community. Next week we will be working with chalk to add coloring using blending techniques!
We are enjoying the beautiful updated courtyard with some Georgia O'Keeffe inspired oil pastel blending!
Our students have been exploring art through the use of technology with iPads. We are developing an art history portfolio with works that relate to the ones we have created throughout the year!
The 8th graders have started their cultural masks for quarter 4 in time for the art show! Hopefully, they will finish before the big day. Don't forget to come and support the arts and literacy at River Grove on Wednesday May 10th!
